Comprehensive Pitch Services
Pitch Cutting
Our grounds maintenance team uses the Trimax Striker 190 finishing mower to deliver a professional cut. With a 1.94 m cutting width and adjustable height range from 10 to 100 mm, this multi‑spindled mower produces a consistent finish across large pitches Its unique baffle design and Trimax LazerBladez™ distribute clippings evenly, while full‑width front and rear rollers create attractive stripes and prevent scalping The Striker 190’s robust build and low‑maintenance design—sealed bearings and few grease points—ensure dependable performance. Clients benefit from a pristine, well‑striped playing surface that looks good and plays true.
Pitch Aeration
Healthy turf depends on good aeration, which is why we use deep‑aeration market‑leading machines. Angled, spiral tines penetrate the soil to create clean slits that allow water, air and nutrients to reach the roots, improving drainage and reducing thatch. Wide‑rimmed tine plates minimise marking on soft or uneven ground, and the simple, low‑maintenance design keeps downtime to a minimum.
Regular deep slitting encourages deeper, more drought‑resistant roots and helps pitches recover quickly after heavy use. By relieving compaction and opening the soil structure, our aeration service keeps your turf resilient and ready for play.
Pitch Grooming
Our Turf Groomer Combination (1.8 m) is a versatile grooming system and industry‑leading quadraplay equipment. The tractor‑mounted frame accommodates up to four implements—such as grooming rakes, slitters, rollers and brushes—allowing us to brush, roll, slit and rake in a single pass. Each implement is adjustable and can be raised out of use when not needed, so we can tailor the intensity and sequence of operations.
The system works on natural or synthetic turf and hard porous surfaces, and agri‑jacks let us choose light or aggressive settings depending on the pitch condition. Popular combinations include a star slitter for surface aeration, a spring tine rake to stand up grass and remove thatch, a light roller for divot repairs and a brush for lifting dew and presenting a smooth surface.
This single‑pass approach saves time while keeping pitches level, debris‑free and ready for play.
Precision Line Marking
For line marking, we rely on an autonomous robotic marker with precision GPS. Robotic line markers use satellite guidance and real‑time monitoring to create perfectly straight lines with accuracy within ±3 cm, working several times faster than manual methods.
They store custom layouts and let us reposition pitches or alter field markings quickly without the need for strings or measuring tapes. Operated via a tablet, the robot reduces labour and ensures consistent results, while also using paint and energy more efficiently than traditional equipment.
The result is crisp, professional markings that enhance the appearance and playability of your sports facility.
